IMEI not recognized

I entered my IMEI while trying to contact customer care and it says not recognized

I typed *#065# to get the IMEI

It should have been *#06#

But anyway
Try this instead

Go to Settings > Scroll down and tap About Phone > Tap on Status > Tap on IMEI Information > Use the 15 digit number from there.

Make sure the numbers are typed correctly as any mistakes would make a major difference.

And do remember not to post your imei number here publicly. You should remove your imei number asap.

Hi @Novex,

It looks like you have previously registered the IMEI for your phone. From what I can see it matches the one you included in the email you sent to your local support team so it sounds like this was a temporary hiccup.
