In pocket keeping waking up the screen, only with me? And brightness issue it's present again here.

If you are experiencing issues with the phone waking in your pocket, you should disable the double tap to wake feature.

What is the issue you are facing with your brightness?

My old Z2 never waked in pocket with 2tap enabled, something different from that?

When screen wakeup the white level on screen is too much, the dark places on screen got light gray, Like on 5.1.1

Any chance you can post a screenshot?

You can adjust the white balance in Settings > Display > White balance.

I'm having the same issue whereby the phone wakes up in the pocket due to the double tap to wake feature. However, I'm curious as to why the feature is not fixed and instead we are asked to disable it. I believe there has been many suggestion tp incorporate the proximity sensor for the double tap to wake to prevent such a problem as with other phones. Will Sony ever look into improving double tap to wake or should we give up all hope and in turn make our phone dumber by disabling it?

I had saw more people with same problem, it's not right, if it's the solution Sony should remove this feature from this phone. I was crazy waiting this fixs with 6.0 update and can't believe in it. Nothing better for us?

I don't see too much of an issue with the brightness here. As I mentioned you can adjust the white balance to make it look more like you prefer.

I also have this problem, the phone wakes up in the pocket with double tap feature activated.

It starts happening since I'm using light trousers because of the hot season. In winter no problems at all.

Why don't you add the proximity sensor support to avoid this problem as suggested and instead your answer is "disable double tap"?

Such a useful feature, this "double tap to wake screen" thing, however, it's been BADLY spoiled by Sony's shoddy implementation! I have never ever ever heard anyone complaining about their phones turning on the screen, trying out some random passcodes, entering emergency dialer or if there is no screen lock, going into the apps and turning on absolutely everything ON ITS OWN! It even sent a voice message to a friend of mine on Messenger! WHAT IF IT HAD MANAGED TO SEND AN EMBARASSING THING TO A FAMILY MEMBER OR A TEACHER OF MINE? Why can it not detect that it's in my pocket so any sensing the screen does from my leg can be ignored?

Since Sony doesn't care to fix this issue, you can use a third-party app that implements proximity sensor.

For instance gravity screen is a more generic purpose one.

There are more specific apps that try to do similar things, such as hilocker (lock screen), glimpse notifications (notifications on lockscreen), etc.
