What camera mode are you using? Also inspect the rear camera lens for dust, debris or fingerprints.

The EXIF data embedded in the photo you posted states that the photo was taken on a Sony XPERIA E4 DUAL E2115 phone with a 5 MPix camera

It was set at ISO 1250 - which is near the maximum for this phone, and the shutter speed was 1/24s, suggesting the environment was pretty dark. You are never going to get as sharp a photo in shuch an environment as an outside photo on a bright sunny day.

Apologies if you know all this, but:

ISO 1250 means the camera was operating at near its maximum light sensitivity. This means it is "amplifying" the signal received significantly to get a usable image. This also means that any noise is also amplified significantly. Camera phones try and get round this by appying LOTs of nose reduction, which results in a somewhat blurry, blocky image such as the one you have posted.

A shutter speed of 1/24s is quite slow for hand-holding. It is easy to get camera-shake. Your E4 phone does have some imaghe stabilization capabilities to help try and get around this, but according to this page they only work "in Manual capturing mode."

The EXIF data also suggests that you used some digital zoom. This will degrade the image and make it fuzzier.

To get the most out of your camera in such dark, dim environments:

Try to use your feet to get closer rather than use digital zoom, if possible.

Use manual mode and enagage the image stabilizer, or use the "Anti motion blur" scene mode.

Hold the phone as still as possible to further reduce any camera shake.

Maybe you have Adblock or Noscrip pluging activated. Try to see here (http://www35.speedyshare.com/pYSMe/8824f1f0/download/DSC-0086.JPG).

But one question: how is possible to change in manula mode as explain in this page (http://support.sonymobile.com/global-en/xperiae4dual/userguide/Using-still-camera-settings/)?

To go into manual mode you need to press the little "Change Capture Mode" Button.

If you are holding your phone in landscape orientation with the on-screen shutter button on the right hand side, then it will be in the bottom right of the screen, as shown in the screen shot linked to below.

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/18678450/Camera1.jpg

This will take you to a screen where you should be able to select manual mode:

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/18678450/Camera2.jpg
