Default save photos to SD Card lost

My phone prompted me to transfer files to SD card, after doing so it had changed my settings for camera to save to SD card, however I cannot find where these photos have gone. When I have changed back to internal I can view in gallery and file commander, whereas I cannot view on SD card in any of the folders?

File commander > SD card > DCIM > 100ANDRO

also try this

restart the phone

if that doesn't work

settings > apps > all > album > clear data (it won't delete the pictures) > restart the phone

Thank you for your reply.

I have tried those things that you mention but had no success, it is only showing those that I transferred.

When I change the setting back to internal it stores them fine, but just tried again to change to store to SD card, took a random picture and then it disappears... it has a thumbnail appear in the bottom right, with the loading symbol on it and then it goes into the unknown! I would love to be able to store them directly onto the SD card as my internal gets clogged quickly...

The SD card might be corrupted
