I use a Z3 Compact model D5803 and the charger is EP 880 Input: 100-240V, Output: 5V - 1.5Amp (1500mAh). My question is why it won't fast charge when the specs support quick charging and the charger is suppose

I think this is not a quick charger, the ones supporting quick charge are EP881, UCH10, UCH12 and UCH20.

Hi @DeservedWolf,

Are you referring to Qualcomm Quick Charge? Xperia Z3 Compact do support Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 but out of the chargers Quester mentioned only UCH10 supports this technology while UCH12 will support Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0.

The Quick Charger EP880/881 does not support the Qualcomm Quick Charge 1.0 or 2.0 technologies. The Quick Charger EP881 is a 5V/1.5A charger.

I hope this clears things up.

Hello Sr Christofer, I would like to ask you how could I know if this Charger is Quick Charge 2.0 compatible as well as my Z3C D5803 with Android 6.0.1. I connect it but no quick charge, I am not using this AUKEY original cable, I am using my SONY original cable, does it even matters ? Thanks in advance.

Brand: AUKEY

A few questions about quick charge.

Should my phone show any feedback, letting me know its being fast charged?

What is the average % per minute while charging with Quick Charge?

I tried the original cable of the charger, but I don't realize if it is being fast charged.

Thanks in advance.

You will notice a difference in speed compared to Sony's original charger EP880 or UCH20 (depending on which one you have) , but you can download Ampere app from google play, which will show you the current that's provided by the adapter.

I ught the same AUkey Quick Charge 2.0 and it actually isnt a differenc. My Z5 Premium takes like 3 hours+ from 0% to 100% and the aukey makes it around 15 minutes earlier. This isn't actually working at all, cause the Qualcomm Technoloy 2.0 should have juiced up my phone 0 to100 in just roughly 2 hours. Called Sony's Service Centre and they saidthey recommend their cusstomers(we) to buy Sony's product as the dont encourage us to go for third party. Which Sony's quick Charge shall i go for, UCH12 or UCH10 ?
