camera fails on SD card

I have an SD card that worked and still does, for example with music.

I can access the SD card from my windows computer and everything looks normal.

However the camera-app which saved videos and photos on the sd card suddenly created a failed jpg file (mostly stripes) and afterwards no photo is saved/created anymore and videos have size 0.

If I change the photo location to internal card everything works again. A restart of the system did not change anything.

The SD-card is 90% empty.

That seems to be a corrupted SD card.

Hi pospiech,

I agree with @uliwooly, best you backup the SD card and perform a format to the card.

Once done put the content back on and then test it out again.

can you try to reformat the sd card?

clear camera app data

settings>apps>camera>clear data
