turned off phone now "home" key does not work and im not getting notification icons

hi all

so last night i restarted my phone . after this

the following happenned

my alarm had no tone selected

my "home " key doesnt do anything

I get no notification icons on the top bar ( they are set to on )

my ringtone defaulted to something i hadnt selected

when you drag down on the notification atthe top there was a "settings" icon this has now vanished

im sure theres more but cant remember

help please

Hi and welcome to the community!

It sounds like you may have switched to a guest user account. On the lock screen, swipe down the notification bar, tap the top right icon and select the owner account.

sadly it isnt that i did check and actually tried to create a new acct as maybe mine had become faulty
