Hi,

Awhile ago I was skiing and managed to fall on some ice onto my Xperia SP (which was in my pocket). After this incident, the screen remains black and the only sign of life is that when i switch it on or charge it the LED at the bottom still comes on. I just wondered if anyone can give me some idea as to what is actually broken. The front glass and the LCD are both still intact with no signs of damage.

The thing is I dont want to spend excessive money to have the problem diagnosed/repaired when I can pick up another one for a similar price.

Thanks

It installed the drivers successfully and yes it appears on my computer....

Just noticed that the screen goes slightly lighter as well when i press the power button (unlock it).

Looks like it may be the lcd, when i press firmly on it, it looks like there liquid 'swirls' down the centre of the screen.
