SD card flap doesn't fully close

I just got this new phone, and noticed after inserting an SD card that the flap doesn't completely close on the bottom side. It almost does, it's maybe sticking out just a half milimeter, but I can feel a small click when I press on it, as if it can't stay down in the closed position, and the other side of the flap, or the SIM card flap, are snuggly closed in comparison. I tried looking for an obstruction but didn't find anything.

I wonder if this is a defect with my phone, or if it's common, and if it's a problem for the "water-proofness" of the phone?

If you remove the SD card does the Flap stay flush?

Thanks. It doesn't, the problem persists after removing the SD card. Now that I've opened and closed the flap again it actually got worse and is sticking out more now 😕

Well it seems like I was able to close it after all, by first pressing hard on the bottom side and holding it while pressing the top side. I tried this before but for some reason it only worked this time. Hopefully it will stay closed. Thanks anyway, sorry for the trouble
