Check this:

/t5/Xperia-Z2/Xperia-z2-USB-OTG/m-p/750049#M7090

For a z2, the user said he tried over 800GB.

Thx but it does not really help me. I don't want connect a hard drive to the z3 compact. I want connect a usb flash drive / usb stick with it. But before I buy a 1000 GB usb stick I want be sure that the z3 compact can handle it. I know that it supports a 16 GB and also an 32 GB Usb stick. But will it support a 1000 GB stick?
