Hi

My Xperia Z3 is stuck in a continuous reboot cycle. It gets to the 'Android is starting...' screen, then the light flashes red and it restarts. Over and over. I downloaded the pc companion, and tried to connect my phone but because it only stays on for as long as it takes to get to the Android screen, it just wont connect. Pc companion detects the phone and begins to sync, but then the phone switches off to reboot and the connection is lost. I've tried holding the power and volume up buttons together, and it switches off but when I hold the power key to turn it back on it just goes straight back into the loop. Also took the sim card out (I don't have an sd card) and tried starting it up like that but the same thing keeps happening. Any idea what I can do? Thanks.

Do you experience the same if you remove the SIM card?

Also, you can try:
1. Leave the phone off and charging,
2. Once the LED turns green
3. Run Sony PC Companion on your computer
4. Follow all the steps to repair the phone
5. Connect the phone (it has to be off)

Hi Phy, thanks for responding so quickly.

I have my phone on charge now, it is off but the LED isn't on at all. When I press the power button it shows me the charging screen and my battery percentage (31%) but the LED light isn't on. Will the light come on & turn green when my battery gets to 100%, or should it be on and showing the orangey coloured charging LED light now? Sorry if that doesn't make much sense! Thanks, Lucy.

For Sony PC Companion to work, the battery level has to be above 60%, just wait until the notification LED turn green, which is 90% and above.

Unfortunately my phone just isn't charging. It displays the charging screen, but my battery percentage has actually gone down, I'm now at 26%. I'm guessing this is going to have to be taken into a store for repair?

I recommend you perform a software repair first. If that doesn't help, then contact your local support team for a repair.
