No Internet connection after Marshmallow update

I installed the latest Sony Xperia update, and can no longer get an internet connection. I have powered down and restarted with no luck. The mobile data icon is highlighted, I have also turned this on and off, but still have no internet connection. I can only gain internet connection via WiFi. My partner has the same network and account as me, but has not installed the latest update, and doesn't have an internet issue.
Can someone please help.

You should download the internet settings under settings - more - internet settings.

I've tried this and still no luck. I received a download complete message but still have no internet. I also selected the internet via more / mobile networks / apn / plan internet, and still no connection.

Does this happen on WiFi or on 3G/4G?

Does this happen all the time or only when screen is off?

I'm also having the same issue. I noticed if I happen to load game or bad connection area which causes high temperature on phone, my data will be automatically disabled by itself and it will take me a few phone restart to bring it up. Really pissed me big time..especially when urgent message not coming in..please help too

Really in need of help here, my xperia z3+ dual's mobile network has stop working after i updated the latest Android 6.0.1 earlier today. Did anyone has the same problem? How do I solve this??
