My problem is that I have a Sony Xperia TL "LT30AT" With Rooting Status: "NO". And I've done everything possible and necessary to change it to Yes. And I have no solution Some (live in a different country, where no spotlight "Sony" so I solved my case). So certainly I paid money to get the release code || I suggest Ah Sony Xperia is that there should restrict unlocking the bootloader on all smartphones Xperia! They have to release a new version Android Officer for the Sony Xperia T, TL> Lt30at. Because for a device with good features and specifications (Medium Range) it is logical, thinking about a new update.
Version 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, not benefit much, and they know it!
The error is that: no longer receive updates. I do not understand how works "Sony Xperia" indeed! Please I need your help or solution for my case (this version 4.1.2. There is fine for this Terminal "Media Range".
Sony Xperia You Have Rights to benefit their members || Apologize for the inconvenience!
Cordial greetings
ATT Christian->

What I know is that the rooting status is " no" if the SimLock is perfectly fine ! My device is almost completely liberated , What is missing is that the rooting status is passed to " yes"
When introduced to the release code . For network unlock the rooting status is automatically set to " yes " in my case it was not, only SimLock he erased the "x " that had previously and replaced a number " 0" and the rooting status ( not changed to yes)

I don't know which method you are using to root your device, but here are three different questions

the bootloader its locked and will be locked forever, thanks to the carrier/network (AT&T)

SIM lock, you can buy the code from AT&T or online so you can use it with other carrier networks

rooting, I don't know which method you are using to root the device, as you can see, there are 3 different things.

I contacted AT & T. And what I suggested was that the only one who had the right to change the rooting status was " sony xperia " believe me I've done everything possible to solve this and find nothing .
It's okay! If I have no solution , I can not do anything else . But please only ask that you have to release a new version for this device ! Because the version launched this terminal lollipop like the " xperia m2 "? Which has the m2 that has the TL ? You know what they do! But I will not lose hope , I will wait to launch an new official version until this device is damaged

@chrisrg4

I don't understand your last post, but if you are expecting Sony to release a new update then that's not going to happen, also, since this is a network branded device, even if Sony release an update, which won't happen, it will have to be tested > approved > released by AT&T which they will NOT do because they no longer sell the device.

So to recap, what are you trying to do?

1. Unlock the phone from AT&T so you can use it with T-mobile? you can get the code from AT&T or online.

2. Unlock the bootloader, this won't happen because AT&T requested to be locked, so it'll forever be locked.

3. Root the device? check the XDA Forum

Then AT & T , is the problem? And unlock code network, I have . And all I wanted was to spend the rooting status yes ! To install new roms ... Because I'm tired of the Android version and build number that I have , I do not benefit at all . AT & T informed me wrong. I had said I had to contact sony xperia to resolve my case

That's correct, it will be really hard for AT&T to admit this as they don't want to lose you as a customer and most of the people you will interact with at AT&T wont understand, remember you are asking about the bootloader not rooting status.
