Auto-answering doesn't work while using bluetooth headset

i have tried it with 15 different applications and 6 different bluetooth headset, this is the most bizzare problem of Z3 compact.

Auto-answering doesn't work while using bluetooth headset. i have tried it even with the original Sony bluetooth headset, there is no solution.

now i have to push answering button on my headset for incoming calls. im a dentist and this problem is my nightmare.

please help me. thanks.

I understand the frustration, could you list the apps that you have tried, also, have you contacted the app developers?

i've tried this apps;

handsFree Answer, plantronics hub, Hands Free, Ultimate Car Dock, New Car Mode, Bluetooth on call, Call to Bluetooth etc. etc.

my headsets are; sony mbh10, plantronics ml10, nokia bh-105, motorola h300

i have also tried; Sony MBH20 and motorola s9

if you are dentist or if you have to use your two hands while working, you will be upset, because theres no way for auto-answering in bluetooth mode. if you are using bluetooth headset, you have to push button for answering. it ruins your life.

I'm not sure if it will work as this will depend on the 3:rd party apps used but perhaps you could try an app that tries to force the audio route to the headset like SoundAbout.

If that doesn't help i recommend that you contact the developer of the auto answering app to see if this is possible.

i have same problem. bluetooth auto answering function is standard in other android phones, but i cant see it on Z3 Compact. i have also samsung galaxy phone. this is screenshot from this phone;

Either or, @hakozen your issue its different, if you check on that screenshot that you've provided

Automatic answering

Automatic answering only operates with a connected headset, not a bluetooth.

Also, those are not standard Android settings, since they can't be found on a Nexus device

i used many phones. all of them had auto-answering function in their bluetooth modes. im waiting for android 6.0 update. if it would not be fixed, i will never use any sony product again.

i got the same problem after 5.1 update. i was using bluetooth headset 100% handsfree before the update, even i could reply incoming calls after 2 seconds with my bluetooth headset. this was allowed by phone itself.

i agree that all the brands have automatic answering functionality except with the Sony.
