update killed mobile data

I'm on a z2, I installed the software update last night and now can no longer get any mobile data or Internet access (without wifi)
I have reset the phone, turned data etc off then back on, still nothing.
No idea where to start on how to fix this. On my data usage screen it just shows a dead stop of data as on the update.
I am not even getting the little arrow symbols showing that it's trying to upload or download anything?
Any ideas or tips?

did you check this by replacing some other network sim cards or check by changing network type (WCDMA & LTE), it this is not works you might need to do software repair by PCC.

I've not got another sim unfortunately so no to that, as to the network type, I haven't touched that as I have no idea what any of that is about, similarly I have no idea what PCC is.
Any instructions I can follow if you can help that'd be great!

Click on settings app--->More-->Mobile Networks-->Preferred Network type

check settings by changing following network types

If this not working you need to do a software repair using PC Companion (PCC) wich is a application need to install in your computer

(search this forum for how to do a software repair by PCC)
