Lollipop update problems with M2

Yesterday i have updated my M2 with lollipop, After that i am facing couple of issues.

1) Huge battery drainage

2) Memory low issue ( first i have reset the device with wiping all the user data after that i have updated my device. It consumed lots of memory for OS, after installing 8-10 applications its started showing memory low msg)

3) Calling feature is complecated than before

4) Camera is not clicking pic with touch click

5) Walkman ( music ) most of the features is not available which is available in 4.4 ( headphone selection option is not good )

6) Most of the system application is not using full screen mode

7) Brightness issue ( i was able to see the screen properly at lowest level in 4.4 but not in 5.1 )

Hey this may be due to not proper installation lollipop.
Before proceeding backup ur apps and internal storage
Flashing will delete everything

If you know about androxdlye flashtool and xperiafirm ware download.
1)Download your regional firmware from xperiafirm software and unpack.

2)Using flashtool create bundle ftf file

3)Using flashtool flash the lollipop downloaded firmware to ur phone

Switch on ur mobile and proceed the installation
First time put full charge and start using.

Second method :
Using sony pc companion
Using repair tools download and flash it to ur mobile

All ur issues will be cleared except camera and xloud.
Since they are lollipop bug

Changing the theme doen't change the illumination bar colour after lollipop update.....

and it doesn't seem to have any sort of illumination bar settings on this device.....

Yes u can wenghong..
But i recommend androxdlye flashtool to flash and xperiafirm to download firmware

Hi, i have upgraded my xperia m2 dual today, since the upgrade the speaker sound is decreased and the earpiece sound has also decreased, what can i do to increase that.

Sony has removed xloud option in lollipop.
Change equalizer settings of your mobile.
Or
Install other players like poweramp,mx player
Or
We have to wait for further update from Sony
(Are if u interested i will say about changing sound enhancement apk which requires unlocked bootloader)

Yes i could notice that some options are removed, can u tell me in detail that what can be done and by speaker sound i also mean the ringtone as well,when it is in my pocket it is bearly hearable in car or standing somewhere as well.

It is already out of warranty, and now within last 15 min just surfing this page through wifi it has drained around 15 percent of battery which lasted atleast 36 hour befpre upgrade

Unlock bootloader by getting key from sony unlock bootloader website and unlock using flashtool.

Root your mobile by seeing in xda developer.

Install viper for android

Or
Flash this zip from this link

Xloud is not removed, according to Sony support it is now included in Clear Audio+.

Is it possible that android 5.1 setup file is still remaining on my device's internal memory..... Because I have updated it on mobile data connection by downloading it on mobile!

Just i have repaired / install my M2 using PC companion and here is the space related issue. Its a fresh OS, no app is installed.

On PC its showing 2.74 GB is free, On OS default storage app its showing 3.75 available and on filemanger its showing 1.2 used.

1 GB space is missing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Agreed, but earlier with 4.4 it was same on device and on PC also.

I have one confusion. Space used by Lollipop OS in my phone is normal or what.....because earlier i have got low memory msg after installing 8 to 10 apps.

After updating to Lollipop and performing factory reset, the GPS is unable to get a fix in 10 minutes. M2 dual.
