Sony Ericsson is going down the drain!

Lately, Sony Ericsson has been making me angrier than usual!

First, the Xperia x10a already stinks because i dont think there is a slower phone available. I DREAM every night for it to operate like it does in the video!
Multitasking is terrible!!!!!! I cant have two applications running at the same time because my phone will just crash!!!
MediaGo is incredibly stupid! Rather than making an application that I can just use to sync my media, MediaGo is a whole media player! This mean that for me to be able to sync my songs to my phone, I have to copy all of my music from iTunes to MediaGo. I have an exact duplicate of my library on my computer that is taking up double the space!!! STUPID! Why would they make it a media player!? They know that everyone uses iTunes! Just make an application used for SYNCING!
I can't put all of my music on it because of protections! I know that its not Sony Ericssons fault, its actually Apple's, but i still blame my phone...
THEY STOPPED RELEASING UPDATES FOR THE XPERIA X10A!!! Why on earth would they do this!? If you stop updating... YOU WILL LOSE CUSTOMERS!
The stupid two finger zoom feature is pathetic as it only works in the browser and maps... IT SHOULD NOT MATTER THE APP!
Ive already said it... THE XPERIA X10A IS SOOO SLOW! IM WAITING FOR MY KEYBOARD TO CATCH UP WITH ME!!! I HAVE TO WAIT 10 SECONDS TO OPEN MY CAMERA!!! meanwhile... most of my friends as well as my dad have an iphone 4 that just makes me want to take a flamethrower to my xperia x10a!

AHHHH! I FINALLY FOUND SONY ERICSSON SOFTWARE FOR MAC! If anyone else has had the 7 MONTH search for this software... ITS RIGHT HERE!

Does ANYONE know how to stops apps from turning on by themselves!? Any free app for that? THANKS

My parents are sick of hearing me complain about my phone so i just decided to vent here... Trust me... i will be adding more to this list!

Ive owned this phone for only 7 MONTHS and im counting down the days until my 3 YEARS are up on my phone contract so that i can get an iPhone 4!!!!

Make some changes Sony Ericsson (as well as Android), and maybe you will please more customers! You might also save one of your phones from going out the window!

I do agree that Timescape and Mediascape its quite slow but there other alternatives

like Gallery which is quite nice and you can pinch zoom on the pictures

They were supposed to be included with android but Sony Ericsson removed them so there wouldn't be competition to their Mediascape

it seems that your phone its acting quite odd, try to backup everything

download the latest version

then download Update Service

run it and repair your firmware.

I agree that SE have become a bit of a joke recently, but an iPhone? No thanks.

Root your X10 install 2.2 like i did and you will see not only is Android better than iPhone(before any one argues I watch flash vids on my X10 so zippit), your X10 is only slow because SE have ruined it. Its easily fixed.

iPhone all the way... would have one right now if it wasnt so expensive... my Xperia was free with my plan

I thought that SE was stopping at 2.1 for the Xperia? If they haven't then that's just ANOTHER problem with Android because 2.2 is currently not available in Canada...

Thumbs up to Apple for releasing their software on the same day for everyone!

I dont like the iphone nor their products, but theres only one thing they do get right, well couple

one like you said for the most part all users get the update at the same time

second even if their products its old, they still keep updating their phone and that doesn't deter future buyers

I think you have missed the point.

Are you really coming on a forum where people help each other with their Android devices and saying ""iPhone all the way"? I know the way SE have treated us is frustrating, but this is NOT the fault of Android. Put 2.2 on YOURSELF, its easy.

Im not blaming Android... im frustrated with SE!

How am i supposed to update to 2.2 when different countries and different phones get the update at different times!

Besides I heard that SE is stopping the update at 2.1 for the Xperia x10a

go to

settings

Location & security settings

under sim card lock, tap on Set up SIM card lock

once there check if Lock SIM card its checked (it should be unchecked)

if it all fails then repairing your firmware is the best solution

first backup & restore everything

once your done repairing/reinstalling your firmware, run backup & restore but don't restore the market apps/playnow apps.

You already have a 2.3 version to your new phones,
it can't take many days for your developers to port it so it works with other Xperia handsets. That should be your top priority right now!

Android is a new OS and is at this point were depending on the updates. Not that you think your 2.1 is the best ever made. We are many who believe that to get the most and the best out of your phone an update necessary.

I agree 2.1 is in the minority of Android devices right now, but it is still used on many devices.

You lied not only about two years of updates, but also about implementing DLNA support.
What else have you lied about, and what will you lie on to future customers?

See above about "two years of support". I agree the wording of the DLNA update should have been worded better, clearly "planned" would've been a better explanation.

Yes you right little bit. Sony ericsson at a low ebb now. They take a decade to make a overall good phone. They can not read the lips. Use same stuff like HD, Bravia engine, Walkman, cyber candy in all. SE repeat their products with different looks. As instance we can take W8 after X8. They repalce X with W. I think they are confused. God Helps them.
