Hi all. Recently my Z3+ has been acting rather strangely as regards connecting to my network (O2). When a call is made it goes diretly to the 'Network not Available' message.

It does however have data capabilities and seems to have the relevant APN data to go with it, although there are no VPN profiles (doubt that would be an issue).

I have checked nearly evey possible fix, wiping the cache, changing preferred networks, changing the radio bands and changing them back to normal again via Android Phone Info.

I checked the IMEI status of the handset online and it is registered as not active, could this be the reason why although i'm getting a full signal i can't make a call, not even to a topup number? Is it possible that a blacklisted IMEI cannot connect to it's carrier?

I've only had the handset for around 3months, it was bought SIM-FREE from an O2 store but is not unlocked. It was taken to an O2 Guru, who was next to useless, only to be told, without looking at the handset, that he thought it was hacked and to send it back to Sony. I find this highly unlikely, I reckon he was just trying to get rid of us as quickly as possible.

The SIM is provisioned and works in other phones, I have swapped other SIMs into the phone, however this hasn't made a difference. Personally, I think it's IMEI has been accidentally blacklisted, however I have no idea how to rectify this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thankyou
