Z1 Compact Battery Problem

I have recently noticed that my phone's battery hardly survive for 7-8 hours, I have updated my device almost 10 days ago, but haven't faced this problem before. I am using all the necessary settings in power management to long last my device's battery.
In battery usage it is showing android os using too much power as compared with others. The ratio for the same is quite high 3:1, 28% used by android os and 8% used by Facebook.
Kindly revert with solution as early as possible..

After major updates it might take a while for your phone to stabilize, it's a common issue among most android phones. I tend to avoid this by wiping my phone after major updates. If you can back up your data and spend some time doing it you'll get a fresh and clean experience on your phone once again.
