Problem with Messaging

Hi, After wishing a good day.

I have a problem with my messages, i dont remember if its after the last software update, but every time i get a new message, it doesnt appear on the notifcation bar or even make a sound, i just by conisidence when i open my lock screen or go to home screen i see 1 on my messsages icon. so what can i do to fix this problem please as soon as possible?

I also have another probem, sometimes my phone doesnt read/see new photos i saved from web page of sent to me through whats app or fb msging app or even captured from my devices's camera.

Are you using the preloaded messaging app?

messaging > menu > settings > notifications > is it selected?

Do u mean the default messaging app??? Yes im using the main messaging app of the device and its selected in the settings menu

On the home screen > press volume up, do you have the phone on silence, vibrate or w/ sound?

Yes, msgs notification is enabled, and volume is up, im facing this problem since september

I have exact same problem. Safe mode fixes nothing.

I get one text when I turn off phone, sometimes.

The messenger thing doesnt go away.

But ive tried factory reset, and it wont work. As in it wont reset. The button goes darker like its been preseed but nothing happens. Same with trying to update. It wont allow it.

And battery is dying super quickly.

This started two days ago.

Any other updates coming experience z2 10.1 tablet

Hope updates are coming just got tablet last week now 4.4 kit kat
