Nah doesn't happen during continuous playback. When I pick up the phone it either happens or it doesn't. If it does, it only goes back to normal if I wait like 30mins or I restart. Files are MP3.

Really frustrating thing, absolutely love the phone other than this.

Couldn't find any topic with the same issue. I've had this phone for about a week now and just noticed that the sound gets distorted when playing music every now and then.

I listen to music on the way to work but after work when I try it, it's cracking/stuttering/skipping, basically unlistenable.
At first I thought it was black player but then the same thing happened on the music app. Different headphones didn't help, it's even happening on the speakers with headphones unplugged. But I've found it is only happening on music as I played a movie at the same time ; the music was shtting itself but the movie audio was fine.

The only sure fix is to restart the phone. Even then, after once I do something else and come back to music, it's all distorted again.

Has anyone experienced this or has a fix? Thanks

Ps music is on internal storage. Don't have an sd yet

Hi,

That sounds strange, no pun intended.
Can it happen during continous playback? If so, how long would you say it takes before it happens?
Also, what file format are your songs in?

I have tried to replicate this but haven't been able to do so. I suggest that you perform a software repair via PC Companion.

In PC Companion you press start on "Support Zone" > Start on "Update the phone/tablet software" > "Repair phone/tablet" (the blue clickable link in the message) > Follow these steps without having your device connected to the PC.

Follow the instruction that appears in the program and do not connect your device until this guide tells you how to connect it.

The software repair will remove all data stored in the phone so don't forget to make a backup in PC Companion before you try the software repair. You can do a backup using the Backup & Restore option in PC Companion.
