Hi,

My Mom just got a new M2 but had trouble getting the SIM to work. I've had a look, and it just doesn't look right. I'll try and upload a photo too.

There's a micro SIM stuck it at the moment, it won't come out because the underside of the slot is bent towards the card. The dummy card has scratches on it.

The online chat support says I should send it for repair, but I can't access the site. It keeps redirecting to the global site and says online repair's not available.

I've tried on different browsers, different devices, and using 4G rather than wifi. No change.

Does anyone know how I can bypass this problem to send it for repair?

ETA: This is what thew slot looks like. There's a couple of scratches from me trying to dislodge the card (somewhere in the middle of the card). But everything else is as it looked before putting the card in.

Hi, thanks for the reply. Just trying to sort out the post, I'm all over about three devices at the moment so everything's messy

I had seen that page, and clicked on the link (I'm in the UK), but it reverts back to the global site after the 'easy as 1-2-3' page.

About to upload a photo now, just in case there's something else that can be done.

Uploaded. Yeah, I don't know what's happening with the locations. I've tried changing the geolocation in case there was something occurring with the connection, but no dice.

I didn't, it's not my phone - it's my Mom's. When I got it it looked like that, but less a scratch near the middle of the card, and with the dummy card in situ. I removed the dummy card, put in my spare micro SIM (she hasn't got one yet), but it can't be read or removed.

The website keeps going back to the global site (where I can't use the repair pages), even though I keep changing it back to UK. Cookies are enabled.

Hi,

It seems like this will have to be fixed at repair so I suggest that you give your local support team a call. They can help you arrange for an repair.
