Network is not getting detected and showing Restricted symbol for some of the Networks

Hi,

I Bought Sony Xperia T3 phone from Virgin mobile in Canada.After few days I have unlocked my phone and strated using with Mobilicy network which was working fine,suddently from past 2 days my phone was not able to recognize the signal (Showing Invalid SIM Card message on my home screen).Today I went to Mobilicity store and I replaced my sim with new one,But still the issue is there.My phone is not able to detect the singal and it is showing the restricted symbol on Service Providers (Settings > More… > Mobile networks > Service providers).

Can you please help me in resolving the issue.

Welcome to the community,

You should first try booting in to Safemode, this will let us know if the issue is being caused by third party software or not.

Hi Jake,

As per your suggestion I tried booting in to safe mode,but still the problem is same network is not getting detected and I am not even able to see service provider selection option in settings>>Mobile Networks>> (attaching the safe mode screenshot)

I can't see the picture until it gets approved by a moderator, what if you enter the APN settings manually?

settings > more > mobile networks > access point names > add new > enter the settings > save > restart the phone.

I have manually entred the APN values and saved it...but nothing gets saved 😞

After that i restarted the phone,but nothing worked..still it is not able to detect the mobilicity network.

That's quite odd, could you test the SIM card on another phone? and another SIM card from a different carrier on your phone?

@Mahesh_emmadi Can you perform a direct download using the auto tool?

Menu > Settings > More > Internet Settings > Accept disclaimer > Choose network.

Let us know the result, do this in normal mode.

Yes,I already tried that..other carrier SIM (Virgin) is working fine and i am able make calls and receive calls.Similarly i tried Mobilicity SIM in another phone,it is also working fine. But the problem is mobilicity SIM is not working in T3,which was working earlier.

As per your suggestions I have repaired the phone using PC Companion and completed the latest software update.But still my problem is not fixed and it is not able to detect the signal and showing the cross mark on the signals.

What happens if you use the SIM from Virgin again, does it work without issue?

I tried now with Virgin SIM card,It is working fine.But while i am selecting the virgin network service provider from the list I noticed for mobiliciy signal there is a restriction or block mark on the sceen (as shown in the below screen).But Stil I am not able to use mobility sim card which is my actual problem

I bought the unlock code from the third party website which worked fine and I was able to access all the networks.But recently this issue started.

Have you made sure that the device is 100% compatible with those network carriers, as this only seems to happen to those two networks, which leads me to believe that this is more of a compatibility thing, or maybe the network related issue.
