Is "International Version" purchased from Amazon.com usable in Taiwan?

I live in Taiwan and am planning to purchase this International Version from Amazon.com. But I'm not sure if it is usable in Taiwan. Could somebody please help me figure it out?

Hi,

I'm not sure which operator or frequency bands that are used in Taiwan. But since the page says it's the D6653 model, it supports the following bands:
UMTS HSPA+ 850 (Band V), 900 (Band VIII), 1900 (Band II), 2100 (Band I) MHz
GSM GPRS/EDGE 850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz
TD-LTE (Band 40) 2300 MHz
FD-LTE (Bands 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 28) 2100, 1800, 850, 2600, 900, 700 MHz

I suggest that you check with your operator if they use one or several of these bands and if they do, it should work.
