When I switch on my Z1C, I get the following message:
Unfortunately android.process.acore has stopped working, the resulting options are Report and Ok.

This normally occurs when phone is switched on from off.

Seems intermittent.

I've already tried deleting contacts cache and data with no joy.

I don't see anything untoward when receiving this system message but thought to ask anyway.

Try Clearing the Facebook, Gmail, Twitter and Instagram app data.

How to clear the data.
From your Home screen

1. Tap the Application screen icon.
2. Find and tap Settings > Apps.
3. Swipe to the All tab.
4. Find and tap on the Facebook app.
5. Tap Force stop > Clear data.
6. Repeat with Gmail, Twitter and Instagram apps.
7. Restart the phone

If I just hit on OK with the message do u think it would cause any issues? as it only appears intermittently.

Have you tried contacts storage? (force stop,clear data & disable)

Hello,

I've a funny feeling that I have tried this previously, it's strange how it doesn't appear every time.

If I see this error again I will try that contact solution again.

Just out of interest, as I am using Kitkat 4.4.4 when I go into the app setting for Contacts Storage I see my version shows as 4.4.4-1 is it normal to have a number 1 at the end and what does this last number signify?

Not sure about that -1 but for me its 5.1.1-1 and my android version is 5.1.1
