Problem with battery, heating etc

Hi,

This is my first experience with Xperia Phone (Z3), I encountered so many problems, I think it is not a phone it is ~~useless~~.

1- Battery Problem, Battery life not as advertised

2- Over heating, I can use it as an oven!!

3- Camera, this is the funny part because I bought it for the camera, I can take only 10 photos then the camera shutdown due to overheating, I can take only 1 min of video.

4- Photo when the flash is on is cloudy and can't see any object.

I own also Lumia 930, I can record up to 12 hours without any heating problem for timelaps or any other camera app.

What a mess, it is a shame from a big company like sony to introduce such toy without any quality or testing.

Do you call it smart phone? I would prefer smart oven.

Don't ask me to factory reset or check the cover or or or , because I tried all the solution on the internet without any luck.

Ok then, first of all I own a Z3 like you, the dual SIM version, and never had this overheating issues you're talking about. Do you have a lot of apps installed? Excessive amount of apps that work in the background will load your phones processor. Also, does this happen in sunny outdoor conditions or in air conditioned indoors too?

Try to reboot into safe mode and see if the same overheating issue happens.

Fot the cloudy images, you get that easily in case of:

- Dirt on lens

- Reflection on back cover

- Finger too close to flash, light will reflect on it to the photo itself

If you are sure none of these is the cause, you should contact your Local support and get your phone examined.

Well that's not normall with the heating. As quester said you may have alot of apps which run in the background and as well drain battery and heat your phone.

To fix this issue i would prefer doing a software repair that will re-install the software and remove all apps. If this wont solve it then something is wrong with the device and you'll need to send it for a warranty repair.

For the camera, do you mean you see condensation when using your flash?? If not then there's a possibility you have some dust, scratches on your lens.

Nothing resolved my problem, I did factory rest, it seems to be a defect in the phone itself, anyway there is no support in my country Lebanon, really so frustrated from my first experience with Sony phones!
