Wrong week numbers

Am I the only one thinking the week no. for next year is wrong? January 1st is on a Friday or something, and that's suppose to be week 53 (of this year) and then week 1 of 2016 starts on Monday the 4th. Quite annoying, since it makes every week for next year wrong... Anyone agrees, or is this a "swedish problem"?

We don't use week numbers here, but let's see if someone who uses them frequently can comment on this.

it is kinda important to me! I made an app that need the week numbers and its working on nearly every device except my z3 like on every phone we have week 39, except on the z3 and thats really bad

Okay. Not quite sure what u mean, it is week 39 now, so... Depending on where in the world you are I guess... But so far, my week no are right, it is just from next year, when Sony left out week 53...

It works for me,
Then i changed to "week begins with sunday" and got your behaviour - i guess the week view just shows the week of the furst Day...

So start your week with monday or look up the ISO standard that proves this good or bad.

Mine starts with Monday and the issue with the week number is still on.
For example, now it's week 8.2016 and in calender it shows week 9.2016.
Has someone fix this?

Yeah, the week numbers are controlled by the country (language) settings. If you have it in American English, try set it to British
