z1 and z2 charging problem

Hi 9 months ago I bought a Sony docking station for my wife's z2 everything worked OK up until last week when her phone only started to charge to 90% whilst on the dock (which is plugged into the wall). When it reaches 90 % the phone flashes red and doesn't reach full charge.

But it does charge full on my z1 dock or via USB. Justice double check I put when z1 onto her dock and the same thing has happened it only charges to 90% and the phone flashes red until you remove it from the dockany ideas?

Did you try her Z2 dock with your charger head?

No because on the z1 is in one piece you can't disconnect the wire

Original Sony docks come as 2 pieces, you can disconnect the wire as USB connection. Are you sure you have the original DK31 charging dock made by Sony?

If it's not original that might be the problem.

It's definitely an original, but it's also the one that is working correctly. It's the one forth z2 which is playing up

The Z2 one is original for sure also?
