3rd Party App Locks

As Sony settings for security does not provide options for locking individual apps and settings, users are forced to use 3rd Party Apps in order to have such a feature (which in all frankness should be an option in the original phone security settings - in my opinion).

I notice a 2 - 4 second delay or lag in the security of the 3rd party security initialization thereby allowing the nosey parker several seconds to view the app homescreen. The idea of the 3rd party app lock is to avoid such possibility as well as subsequent deeper access to the locked app.

I am using the Sony Z3+ (aka Z4) with all current updates installed at both OS and App levels.

Any useful insight and possible remedy to this most annoying problem is greatly anticipated

What you're describing is the fault of the app, why should Sony try to fix it?

Sony could perhaps make its own security to lock apps, then we won't need annoying 3rd Party apps, would that be an impossible request?
