Z3 Constant Hang Ups

My Z3 does constant hang ups at random times. Sometimes when I call someone it will hang up before it even rings even if I hit call back IMMEDIATLY after it hangs up it hangs right back up.

Sometimes I can talk for 5 mins sometimes 3hrs but it will randomly hang up. A phone restart fixed it sometimes I have changed the signal prefrences and no change. I have factory resetted the phone and no change. I am about to do a Software repair with the PC Companion. If this does not work I don't know what to do. Has anyone else had this??

It does stay on. Sometimes the phone still drops signal with the screen off too.

Perhaps you press the end call button with your face? is there anything blocking the proximity sensor?

The screen should go black when it is against the face, are you aware that this happens?

If it still stays on it sounds like the Proximity sensor may not be working correctly and you may be accidentally hitting the hang up button with your face etc.

I use a Blueparrot Bluetooth. and it hangs up repeatedly like if it hangs up I push the call back button and it hangs right back up again. Even if it is sitting in a spot with a strong signal it will hang up randomly

Are you getting the same results when you use the device without the Bluetooth device?

Yes cause yesterday is the only day I made call without it because I forgot it at home. But it still hung up on me 3 times yesterday.

But this has been going on for 3 weeks minimum

Honestly, the best thing you could do here would be to boot in to safemode and see if you get the same results, this way it will let you know and us if this is related to third party software.

ok I just finished a software repair. If that does not work I will try safe mode. How do I put it in safe mode? I have the Z3 6603
