A lot of problems when I updated mine to 5.1.1 NEED HELP

Hi guys! Since I updated my Z3 to 5.1.1 I'm having a lot of problems, like my mobile data ,even if it's not activated, I suddenly recieve emails, Facebook messages and other updates from social media apps that require internet access. The H+ sign ( my network is Sun cellular) appears from time to time. One of the reasons why I got cut off is because of that. Bill suddenly goes up. Battery easily gets drained too. ALso, it has a hard time connecting to WiFi networks. I already did a factory reset on my phone but still has the same problem. What should I do?

Next time I'll read the reviews first before updating.

About the battery drain after Lollipop update, seems that Google has taken on some measures:

Post number 1023 is an answer from google about the reported bug.

All of these problems can arrive from updating to a newer version of Android over the old one without wiping the phone. Some residual files and incompatible apps can cause lagging, crashes, battery drain, etc.

Exception to that is the USSD problem on Xperia Z3 Dual, this problem has a whole thread going and Sony is aware of it and promised to fix it as soon as possible.

I'd suggest that you do a PC Companion phone repair, this will do a clean installation of the latest firmware and will also wipe your internal memory. Don't forget to back up any important data on the internal memory before you proceed with the process, SD card content will not be affected.

Open PC companion -> Support zone -> Phone/tablet software update -> Repair my phone/tablet (blue link style). Follow the steps given, do not connect your phone until prompted to press volume down while plugging USB cable.

I repaired my phone with PC companion and I don't have all the issues you mentioned in your post except for USSD bug.
