Hi,

My Sony Xperia Z1 stopped working, and I have backup of my phone. I need to get my text messages into a readable format. I have been able to get the com.sonyericsson.conversations file open and found a file named 'fullbackupdata.' I now need to know if there is a program I can use to open that file up. I don't have access to any other sony or android devices - only iPhones now, so either a readable format on my mac would be awesome, or a way to open that file on the iPhone I am currently borrowing?

Thanks in advance

there may be another solution if you describe what is wrong with your phone - e.g. broken screen touch not responding, there are ways to flash your phone without wiping the data, also the standard little backup app in tools folder I have always found very reliable for backing up contacts sms etc

The phone is water damaged and won't turn on. Buttons and ports aren't working, so the phone is completely inoperable. I backed the phone up using sony bridge for mac a couple of days before this happened, so hopefully I can do something with that
