    <description>&lt;P&gt;I will try this when I have time.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;But to be honest, this is always the kind of answer I get when a problem is reported.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Clear data, uninstall, reset, ...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It's getting old.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It seems that lately a problem is never investigated and solved correctly.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This is not the only thread about Smart Connect not functioning as it should.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Why aren't the problems fixed for a change...&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I use smart connect to change volume setting when connecting various headphones/speakers to my phone.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;For example for my BT speaker I want the BT volume to be 100%, but for my BT headphones the volume is&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;changed to 10%.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This used to work fine.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;But lately the smart connect app seems to miss the connect (start event) most of the time.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The disconnect (event end) alsways seems to work.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Also for wired headphones this always seems to work.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any ideas?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;You can reset your Smart Connect app, but you may have to set all the events fromthe beginning. If you are willing to do that just go through these steps:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;- Go to Settings -&amp;gt; Apps -&amp;gt; Smart Connect -&amp;gt; Force stop, Unistall updates, Clear data.&lt;BR /&gt;- Go to your Play Store and update Smart Connect again.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I did as suggested. Reinstalled SmartConnect and now everything seems to work again.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;But I did founnd a quicker sollution.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;From time to time, SmartConnect does not detect the end event with BlueTooth devices.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;When this happens, the start event also does not work the next time, as the profile is still active.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;When this is the case -&amp;gt; open the profile in Smart Connect -&amp;gt; there is a small "end event icon" (a circle with a line thru)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;at the top of the profile. Select this and the end event will run, releasing the profile again.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I saw that the end event ALWAYS fails with my BT headset, if I just turn the headset off.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If I pauze the music first and then swith it off, the end event does work. Any ideas?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
