Constantly returning screen problem - yellow tint

Hi,

First of all, I have to say that I´ve always been a huge SONY fan, and all products work well except for the Xperia series.

I have the problem with the Z1, Z3 Compact and now with the Z3. After 6-8 weeks a yellow tint/ stripe appears on the left side of the screen in the corner. It begins washed out but turns to yellow/orange. No phone ever dropped or under water, no cracks.

I use the original SONY docking station and a micro SD Card. I was thinking about the SD Card causing this problem because of the place but in Z3 the micro SD Card slot is on the right side.

Besides SONY always repaired all phones without asking but I want to avoid this problem...

Can anyone help me?

Hi I'm just about to send mine in for exactly the same issue in the same place, I've never used a memory card but I did notice the phone gets hot behind the upper left of the screen where the yellow vertical blur is and this tint gets brighter as the phone heats up.

Ok than it's not a SD Card issue.
Do you use the magnetic charger?
I just don't know why it's always at the same place... But I think it's more related to temperature and glue than to pressure.

Have the magnetic charger but haven't recognised a link between using it and the problem appearing, noticed the issue after doing the latest update and the phone getting really hot as a result.
