I cannot access to battery usage...

When i click on battery usage in power management, it said " unfortunately setting has stopped... Anyone knows what is going on? Thanks!

Message like that also pop up when you're running out or don't have enough internal memory space. How much memory do you have available?

Hi, i have doing as u ask, problem still persist...my internal storage: 4.58 gb...actually is not big deal, everything running smooth...jz want my new phone to be perfect...:)

Hi @haikim

To find out the cause of this problem, first of all, boot your phone to Safe Mode. Then it will be clear to you whether “Unfortunately, Settings has stopped working” problem on your device is occurring because of any third party app or pre-installed app.

What kind of third party app & pre installed app ?today I jz factory reset whole things...but problem remain...I think is bug for Android 5.0 (30.0.B.1.33)

Well, I am also facing the same problem. Battery usage app is not working at all. Steps tried are "Repair Phone" via Sony Desktop Manager and also factory reset option. Sony Team any chance of an update soon.....

Hi @auhckw

Please, first run a backup of the device information. Then perform a system repair using PC Companion or Bridge for MAC. The process will erase all internal memory.You might need to charge your device for about 1-2 hours before so the device has at least 80% battery. Switch off your phone and unplug from Pc (Hold volume up and power for around 10 seconds) Start PC Companion and select Support zone then Update my phone/tablet then in Blue Repair my phone/tablet and follow the on screen instructions - When prompted connect your phone still switched off holding volume down or back button - This should start the repair or reformat process. If you are using Windows 8/8.1 or a 64bit operating system then adjust the settings for PC Companion and run in compatibility mode and chose Windows 7 or XP. Keep us updated please, I´m at disposal for any question.

ya, i have follow your step twice, problem still remain...wasting my time actually to restore all stuff again...:smileysad:

is it when we get L 5.1, will solve this problem? actually i go sony store check, everything on M5 looks fine ....all can access to battery usage....only mine cannot....

Changing system language from UK English to US English fixed the problem for me !! You guys should give it a try..
