ok the flicker is GONE

HOW???!!!

well i dont know for sure, this what i did, and i dont know if this procedure fix the problem

the flicker problem as i said happen randamly, so i have to turn off and turn on again in order that the flicker gone and its work in some cases, so when i manage to see the screen, this is what i did

remove any SIM card in the device(its better to remove the SIM when the device is off)

turn on the device with safe mode

activate the ultra stamina mode

charge the phone, until its fully charged

check the phone for a while if its flicker.

turn off and turn on the device normaly

because i made a factory format, i enabeld the wifi and install all the needed apps

i used my phone normaly, check every thing, from apps to camera, ect.

i put back the SIM card.

i notice that when the SIM card in put back, the phone start to act slower for a moment, when i press the off/on botton, the screen take seconds in order to show, so there is a short blackout.

so i dont know if its a SIM card problem issue that made the screen flicker.

and thanks uliwooly for your advice of using the safe mode

thanks

Hello.
I was wondering if you had found the solution to correct this problem.
My Z3 do the exact same thing as you describe in your first post. My screen also show the same pattern seen in your picture. Same size.
Like you said, the screen doesn't seem to be the problem because I can still use the phone normally after a couple lock/unlock. Also, I'm not convinced that it is a software update issue because I'm using 23.5.A.1.291. (6.0.1)
