Z5 Compact phone app slow, very slow.

Hi all. I'm really unimpressed by the Z5 compact. The phone app is super slow. Also, I have to restart the phone each time I want to place a call cause theaudio doesn't work.

Is there a solution or something I can do to make it work?

The phone app is also very slow for me. I received a call and I kept pressing the answer button until eventually after about 15 seconds I could answer.

2. Apps
3. All
4. Phone
5. Clear data
6. Restart the phone

You can also test your phone on safe mode, if there's no lag then its a third party app creating this lag.

How to boot on safe mode

How to boot on safe mode on Lolipop
1. press and hold the power key
2. once you get the pop up menu
3. press and hold "power off"
4. Boot on safe mode should become available

I have tested the safe mode. It is still the same problem. Clicking on the Dialer App takes about 2-3 seconds. Clicking on a contact takes about 4-5 seconds till the phone switches the display to dial the number. This is not acceptable.

I tried to clean up data and the safe mode but nothing really helped.

I did remove Skype and after that I had an improvements. Now the phone app is working properly.

Not happy had to do that but I can live with it for now.

Z5 Compact issue with new update

Guys, I need help. After the update to the latest firmware the phone behaves weirdly. If I restart it, then it will restart itself several times before I can use it. Anybody has ever experinced this?

I suggest that you try to repair the phone software using PC Companion..
