Bad work

My Sony Xperia Z3 compact mobile always sleeps the screen just when I make a call !!
May I know what's going on ??

Do you have a screen protector? Can you check if the same occurs in safe mode?

I checked the "safe mode " and I am still suffering this issue !!

Turn off and turn it back on. Apps will be back.

Do you have a screen protector?

You didn't reply to my question that's why I have asked. Remove the screen protector and check how it is.

I removed it, but I still have the problem.. the screen still sleeps when I make a call..

I even can't end the calls !! Or use speakers 🔊 and all the call options during a call !!

You may need to perform a software repair using PC Companion.The process will erase all internal memory.You might need to charge your device for about 1-2 hours before so the device has at least 80% battery.

Make sure the device is not connected to computer or laptop and turned off (sometimes you have to press power button and volume up until the device vibrates 3 times or on some devices you have to press the small button near the SIM tray or on the back of the device).

Open PC companion->support zone->phone/tablet software update->repair my phone/tablet blue highlighted.Follow the steps given,do not connect your phone until prompted to press volume down while plugging USB cable. If PC companion does not start the repair process, you might need to run it in compatibility mode with Windows 7 (in some cases XP).

Just to clarify, is the handset going into standby straight away or after a period of time and does the display wake up if you tap the power button whilst on a call?

I asked someone and he said that I have a problem with some sensor.. So may I know if that is included in the insurance ??

And have you tried to contact your Local support? They will answer to that question.
