Z5 poor performance when using Bluetooth headphones

I use some bluetooth headphones for gym and commuting use and was surpirsed to see a very obviuos decrease in performace of my Z5 when audio was streaming to them. I use Google Play music and it was never this bad on my Z3. Performance was sluggish, the phone was unresponsive at times and on a few occasions the the phone froze for a few seconds which also stopped the music streaming. Pretty dissapointing! Anyone else have this?

Hi,

That sounds strange. Do you only experience this behaviour while you use Bluetooth headphones? Have you tried while using a wired headset?

Could you also make sure that you have the latest software in your Xperia Z5. Download PC Companion to your computer > Connect your phone via USB-cable and PC Companion will tell you if an update is available.

I have upgraded to a z5 from a z1 and have no end of trouble with Bluetooth connection with my new z5 ..I have returned the phone to sony and they have replaced it but same problems gone back to z1 and all is good.

I've gone to the Z5 after an iPhone 5S. Never had an issue with Bluetooth connectivity before, the iPhone connected flawlessly with my car stereo, motorbike helmet, Marley speakers, Bluetooth headphones. The Sony fails almost 50% of the time. It's quickly rectified by resetting Bluetooth, but what an inconvenience, especially considering the price.
