Call dropping immediately after dialing..

Hi, I own an Xperia V, I recently updated it to android version 4.3 about a week ago.. I have never experienced sudden call drops before but since yesterday, I have not been able to make calls. I am able to receive any call made to me but I can't call out except by using the call function on WhatsApp... I read some forums online and a lot of other people are experiencing the same problem. most of them explained that it is the android update that has a problem and suggested that I clear the data on all my applications and the problem would be solved but that did not work. May you please help me....

I will give it a try.. But do I have to roll back to an older version of Android first or will it work without having to do so... If I have to, how do I do it..
