On the website it has no Sony phones listed at all, although I have read elsewhere recent Sony phones have switched to the Apple / Samsung standard for TRRS audio jacks, trying to get some clarification on that?

You can contact Sony directly Local support but this is something that I doubt Sony would be able to answer (compatibility)
