Greetings!

I just bought my C5 ultra yesterday and then whenever I play video files and even in youtube it always has green and red artifacts. Even the stock video preview files plays like this. I already did factory reset and still got the problem. Can anyone help me with this problem? Thank you.

It is stored in my phone. I already tried streaming on youtube and also different file types and everything is the same. And the worst part is I tried recording a video and to the result was the same, it is full of artifacts. The only way to view the videos clearly is to use MX Player on Software decoding, anyforms of hardware decoding fails. I dont know why, i had another phone and it can play all smoothly may it be HW or SW decoding.

Only when using MX Player SW decoding, any HW decoding causes the artifacts. Not to mention all video previews while browsing or anything related to videos has artifacts. Anyway thanks for the prompt reply. I'll be going to the store to have this replaced if it still possible.

Ok got my phone replaced from the store but had to changed its color to black since there are no more white units. Anyway their technical support tried to do the same things you suggested to me and concluded that the phone has issues though he did not exactly said what the problem is. I tried the new unit for an hour to check if everything is OK and run all its diagnostic tests and successfully passed everything before going home.

Thanks for the prompt reply uliwooly

Excellent, enjoy your C5, one thing I do suggest is to reinstall the latest update with PCC, it will improve battery life and smooth things out
