Lollipop 5.1 update is rolling out for xperia c3 dual, Has anyone updated??? How about camera quality[front and rear] please do post your reviews😃

Both front and rear are the same as in 5.0.

Front: Good

Rear: Crayon drawing by the spawn of Satan

Other than that, the interface of 5.1 is nice. Been waiting for that nice change

Problem after lollipop upgrade

hye guys..did you guys got a problem after upgrading android version 4.4.2 to 5.0.2? my phone seem like goes wrong. after the upgrading my phone being lagging and the respond very slow. before i upgrade to 5.0.2, my phone nothing happen like this. did you guys facing the same problem. can we share about it and how to solve it.

At least your phone turns on. After upgrading, I got the error message saying that the software update has failed and I should make sure my phone is connected to the computer and try again. The problem is that the computer does not recognize the phone and the phone refuses to go beyond the error message. Any suggestions on how I could/should fix this will be welcomed.

I think you need to see the expert to solve your problem. Cos im also need to solve my problem. I already try to solve after got an email from support service but im still cant to solve it..in my opinion, android version 4.4 is more comfortable then 5.0 version..hurmm

I am currently using 5.1.1 by flashtool. The photo taken by rear camera is still bad，the same as 5.0.2. However, the operation is quite smooth now. Maybe you can wait for the OTA if you don't want to use flashtool.

After upgrading to 5.1.1, my feeling is the same as AutumChris. Everything is good except the rear camera. I don't expect any improvement of it in the future. Anyway, thanks for the update, but I feel disappointed with the rear camera for quite a long time.

I already send an email to support service. They give me the way to solve this problem and im still cant to solve it. Coz im stuck at step 2. Everytime i connect to internet and the problem start. Especially when i connect to wifi. It very make me annoying and the respond very slow. It really take time to cool down. Did you got the problem like this.

What do you mean step 2? I think you can do a clean installation by PCC.

I like the new update everything works perfectly even my internal memory is increased and especially I like the new limited connectivity of wifi working very well than earlier limited connectivity which not used to work on all wifi

This is an email i've got..can anybody help me how to continue to step 7..im stuck at step 6.

1. Download PC Companion from www.sonymobile.com/us/tools/pc-coampanion/, and install it on your Windows computer.

2. Turn off the phone and disconnect it from the computer.
Note! No matter what the program says, do not connect the phone until you have completed step 11.

3. Computer: Open the PC Companion application.

4. Select Start under Support Zone.

5. Select device Software Update and Start.

6. Could not find phone appears. Select Repair phone and Connect.

7. You are warned about the loss of your personal data twice. If you acknowledge that continuing will overwrite all data selectContinue.

8. Tick the box to confirm that you have understood that all personal data will be lost. Then click Next. The application prepares for the update and if necessary downloads required data from the web.

9. Select your phone model manually and then click Next.

10. Depending on the model selected, you are asked to perform a few steps for the update for PC Companion to be able to update the phone software. Do not connect the phone yet!
Note! At this point the phone must be off and disconnected from the computer.

11. Connect the USB cable to the computer, not to the phone.

12. Xperia: While pressing and holding down the indicated button, connect the USB cable to the Xperia™ device, and keep holding and pressing down the indicated button until The update of your device has started... appears (in some cases Installing driversappears first).

13. If you failed to follow the steps correctly the phone will turn on, and Proceed with the following steps, slide down the notification bar appear. If this happens, disconnect the phone from the cable, turn it off and repeat from step 12.

14. Follow the instructions on the screen. When the repair is finished, disconnect the device and then start the device again.

15. Select Next. If the repair was successful, the message The device has been successfully updated appears. Select Finish.
