xperia z3+ continuously restarting

i bought a new xperia z3+ dual sim last week , i experienced sudden restarting again again without any reason.its happened in certain interval of time. i dont know the exact reason... kindly help me to resove it. i'm totally afaird of Sony now!

I'd suggest that you do a PC Companion phone repair, this will do a clean installation of the latest firmware and will also wipe your internal memory. Back up any important data before you proceed.

Open PC companion -> Support zone -> Phone/tablet software update -> Repair my phone/tablet (blue link style). Follow the steps given, do not connect your phone until prompted to press volume down while plugging USB cable.

Okay i will try that way. still i'm using a xperia z ,there is no lag,no issue right till now .really fantastic mobile i ever used. but z3+ made a sudden problem that's why i afraid.

oh my friend , problem starts again , its restart again now in long interval of time after clean updates... what is the permanent solution for it. Is it hardware/software issue. Please clarify it.

I am sorry to hear about this, however has it ever rebooting whilst you were looking at the display and if so did you spot any sort of error just prior to it powering off?

Looks like you are having same issue like what i did. You might see sim card inserted message just before the phone got restarted. if it is true then you are having same failure symptom like what i saw. I just posted a message in the forum regarding this issue as well

I have written a similiar message few hours ago. However, it seem like someone has removed my message. Again, i would like to express my disatisfication over here. I bought my phone last months and my phone keep restarting. I noticed that right before it restart, there is a sim card inserted message pop up. I am sure that my sim cards do not have any issue as i do not encounter any similiar issue when i am using those sim card in other phone. I have sent my brand new phone to service center for further debug as the software repair simply cannot solve the issue. It looks like Z3+ is having sim card slot design issue which cause the sim card detach from the sim connector and causing the phone restart it self once it detect the sim card again. I found out that there is disclaimer in the user manual that saying that hot plugging the sim card would trigger the phone to restart. I trusted Sony as i have no issue with my previous Z1, but Z3+ simply a disaster for me as it give me this issue right after i have made my payment. Besides that i noticed some Z3+ users are having same issue like what i have.

I use nano sim. I purposely change my sim card to nano sim after i have purchased this phone.

BTW, i just want to vent my frustration in this forum. If i really do not like Xperia series, i do not bother to give a comment here and just walk away. But i think Sony really need to improve their design as too many negative issues for current Xperia flagship model. I hope Malaysia service center can really solve the issue, but it looks like a bit tough if my guess is correct, as mechanical tolerance is very difficult tackle in electronic product design.

I'd blame Google or Qualcomm before Sony. The hardware is pretty solid but Qualcomm was rushing to get a 64 bit processor on the market and Google rushing to code for it.
