So, having done a repair with PC Companion (in an unsuccessful attempt to solve my camera problem) and left the phone inside the house (no Facebook running or anything else) my new Z3+ went from 95% charge to 0% in just over 3 hours. Its now recharging - very slowly. Having had a look round the support forum I see that I'm not alone in having battery problems like this. Is there some fix for this or is it a case of sending the phone back and getting a replacement?

First, it won't (or can't) tell me what used up the battery. Second, I tried what you suggested and it didn't work. I even tried putting the phone in Stamina mode, and all that happened was that the phone lost 20% charge in less than an hour. Am I wrong in suspecting a faulty phone here?

Yes. I suffered the same problem. My battery drained out in 3 hours. It does not tell me what or who used the battery. And yes Stamina mode did not help. I am now on stamina mode after having recharged.

I've solved the problem now. 😕 The phone was faulty, and apparently this is not an uncommon fault. I took the phone back to Telia (the service provider) where the assistant felt the phone (which was hot despite not doing anything) and then simply said that the phone was faulty and they would exchange it on the spot. The new one is fine, no problems at all. So if I were you I'd get your phone changed.

I agree, battery is the worse from Sony on this device. It barely stays for one day.
