Hello.
I am having trouble with a touchscreen of my Z1 Compact. I bought my phone in August this year and after few weeks of using I noticed a small gap between touchscreen and the rest of phone. Thanks god I did not tested waterproof.
So I send phone to the Sony Service (warranty to January 2016) in Poland and they told me that warranty does not include that kind of damage. What can i do now? It really isn't my fault that touchscreen peeled off of the rest a bit.

I hope for good news.
Greetings,

Dominik.

If the gap is caused by damage then no it won'rt be covered but if it is a manufacturing defect then I would assume it would be covered but under EU consumer law I'm almost sure you only have a set amount of days to inspect for defects before you are deemed to have accepted it - except for hardware failures
