Each time When i restart my device it showing dialouge that "upgrading android" but nothing new !!

This shouldn't be happening - All i can suggest is a factory reset or a system repair which should fix this as it sounds like something hasn't quite been configured and is doing it every time is boots up

Also experiencing the " android is upgrading " problem, please help us, just having an M4 Aqua Dual E2312 for 2 weeks.Before having this " android is upgrading " problem, my device suffered from frequent restart because of SD card, after removing the external storage, the problem stopped. Now suffering the. " android is upgrading ", I guessed that the root of this problem is the same.

Yep. Same problem here.
I've had this phone for less than 2 weeks and did a repair/reset yesterday after constantly restarting randomly and showing 'android is upgrading'. Since then I have had 8 system incidents including restarting and the phone turning itself off.

I have had that issue too. This is my second m4 in less than a year. First one kept dismounting SD card - tried multiple cards and same issue - worked fine on earlier phone and my husbands when I borrowed his to test. Then it started showing upgrading android on restart - but most annoying thing was it was loosing cellphone reception - going from full bars to emergency mode only - and only at one location where other phones were fine. So Sony replaced my phone.

Unfortunately my new one has just started to do this again. Doing factory reset appears to have got rid of issue with android updating on most recent reboot - but still regularly lossing cell reception.

Same issue here. Just transferred everything to SD. I swear that's why. On an E2306 on Android 5.0

Hello, my phone is Sony Xperia M4 Aqua. While my phone is opening I encounter with "Android is being upgraded". Are there any solution for this problem without recovery?.Also my phone is in 5.0 Android version now. But after my phone opened shortly after, icons and menu is showing up slowly and phone is very slow about 1 minute.Help me please.
