Camera apps compatibility ....

Can I download and run the apps by Sony other than the pre-installed apps? I mean I want to download and run the pre-installed camera apps which are on Xperia Z3 or C4... Can I download them officially or unofficially? Like the AR Mask, Style Portrait, Sound Photo, etc? Can these run on devices like Xperia E3 or Sony had made them device specific to run on?

Some of them are available on the store. If they aren't compatible,you will be notified or simply cannot install them.

Like 4K recording or stuff like that? Those can be added if you root your device.

4K recording most probably won't. But ask there as they are experienced.
