There are lots of people who have the same problem with their Z3 compact. The Display cracks without external force. Since I waited over a month just to get a letter telling me that this is not covered by the warranty, this is my last sony product. I will put a lot of time and energy in writing reviews and share my experience with the worst support I have ever withnessed.

They are still refusing to cover repair costs but as a 'goodwill gesture' they have said they will waive the £21 they were trying to charge just to send it back to me.

After repeatedly refusing to pay , I sent a formal letter of complaint . I had to chase up on the response to my letter, but eventually got a call from the escalation team who have agreed to cover the cost of my repair given the time delay since it was first sent for repair Still refusing to admit manufacturing fault but at least I am not out of pocket
