Heating issue?

AS THIS MOBILE HAVE SNAPDRAGON 615 CHIPSET , I THINK THIS MOBILE HAVE HEATING ISSUE

AS ALL THE MOBILE LAUNCHED HAVING SNAPDRAGON 615 CHIPSET HAVE HEATING ISSUE , EVEN AFTER 10 MIN.. OF CONTINUES BROWSING THE HEATING ISSUE EXISTS

EVEN THE XIAOMI MI4i LAUNCHED WITH 2ND GENERATION SNAPDRAGON 615 CHIPSET STILL HAVE SAME ISSUE

SO HOPE SONY WILL SOLVE THIS ISSUE SO THAT USER CAN USE HANDSET WITHOUT ANY PROBLEM

AND CAN ANYONE PLEASE TELL THAT EXACT RELEASE DATE THERE IS NO HELP WITH XPERIA CUSTOMER SUPPORT FOR THE RELEASE DATE

Your phone won't overheat as if it gets too hot the phone will shut down, also if you are playing games, syncing multiple accounts, a lot of background apps, the phone will heat up faster.

Have you seen any message on the phones display about the phone being too warm? There's a difference between the phone getting warm and overheating. It's normal that the phone gets warm during use and as uliwooly says, the phone has builtin protection against overheating. In case the phone should get too warm you will get a message on the display saying so and then it will turn off features or itself before any damage may happen.

Itz kk bro u will wait an watch because this problem occur with most of phones that back of phone get warm upto 43+ degree celcius

If this problem is not occur i am also wait for this mobile till 3 months ago and waiting for its launch

I purchased M4 aqua dual on 01 june and noticed that while surfing for less than two mins, the back of the phone got heated up. It was really high temprature may be around 50 deg. i dont know if its normal or will be solved with next update?? or its a hardware issue???

hi, one more thing that i want to submit is that while clicking photos with flas in low light produces white fog kind of effect on the pic, there by making the pic hazy.. xperia team kindly respond..

I bought Xperia m4 aqua few days back. It heats up . Just few minutes of gaming or browsing and the heat becomes unbearable. I.m putting up for sale. I'm angry right now to have waited for this phone for 3 months. Sony just lost one more customer(fan). I might not be significant to their market because I don't buy their phones in hundreds but let them wait for my blogs.

Even I am facing the same issue. Just bought it last week & its started over heating with just moderate use (browsing on 2g, playing songs, and even in screen locked mode).

performed the below steps

1)Factory resetting

2)repair/reinstall os using pc companion

3)safe boot etc.

but still the problem exists. After doing some google search cmae to know its hardware issue because of Qualcom's snapdragon 615 chip, which is famous for such heating issues & any software wont fix it. So stuck with it!!?

Also the battery rate is dropping very frequentlly, unless its in stamina mode which'll reduce its performance.

I am wondering how can sony launch such defective product withiout rigorous testing the battery & heating issue.

PS. I've been fan of sony brand since my sony ericsson xperia mini. But seeing its current products performance. I think its loosing its brand value.

i bought this phone today and have the same heating problem.within a minute of using internet(2g and 3g)..heating exists.Sony should fix this issue..really fast

This device costs me a huge Rs25000 ..and the heat that it gives is so much that i cannot make a call after browsing for 5/10 minutes.will there be any updates for this heating device.

Also it took 3 hrs for full charge,then 3 hrs to drained again

same heating issue, sometimes it unbearable heat.

How many of you feel that the 13MP camera is worst ever from sony. No sharpness and dull color.

My next phone will definitely not be sony.

Sony you just lost another fan.

I have emailed National consumer disputes redressal commission as well as Maharshtra state consumer disputes redressal , would request guys also to to do the same.
